DJ JAM Newsletter : August 2012

Hello everyone it’s Jam, welcome to the month of August. Here’s a recap of my July adventures. I started the month off eating a lot of barbeque on the 4th that I grilled myself (as I pat myself on the back), so of course it was off the hook!!! I had the whole neighborhood wanting to come over & eat, Lol. I dj’ed the last 2 afterparties of Snoop Doggs Canadian tour. The first was in Vancouver at club Republic, it was a nice club with 2 floors, the top floor overlooked the dj booth which was elevated so I had a nice audience watchin’ me do my thang. Check out the PHOTOS. Shout out to Vancity for comin’ out & DJ Jay Swing for makin’ it happen. The second party was on Victoria island at club 9One9. I dj’ed there before after Snoops last tour there a few years ago, here is a CLIP from the last party. They renovated the club since the last time I was there & it was really nice. Check out the PHOTOS from the nite. Victoria definitely came out to party & it was crazy. Special shout out to Kurupt for hangin’ wit me after for the After After Party!!! & special thanks to DJ Degree & DJ Reign for lookin’ out. I also just did another equipment video blog for Seagate portable hard drives, check it out HERE. Thanks to Watseka films. These are the hard drives of my choice & I never gig without them!!! On the production side Watseka Films just finished the video for the “Tony Montana” remix by Future featuring Drake. Check it out HERE. Me, Dave Moss & Zero just finished another version of “Niggaz In Paris” (Kraaayz Dubstep remix) with a video coming within the next week or so so check the site soon for that also. Here is the DOWNLOAD for now. I am currently getting myself ready to go to Vladivostok, Russia on Monday for a week. I’ll be djing at club Cuckoo there next Wednesday. Check out the FLYER. Then on August 17th I’ll be starting a new club in San Diego called Jam Sessions at Spin Nightclub along with Wolfpack Entertainment. It will feature some of the best dj’s from San Diego as well as all over the world. The club will definitely be about the music & the DJ’s but we will feature artists & entertainers from time to time. The first nite will feature dj’s Billie Knight, Hektik & Circle K playing the best of Hip-Hop, R&B & Old School downstairs & DJ JFX & Reggie playing the best Reggae tunes upstairs. It’s nice & theres 3 levels with a outdoor patio. Make sure you come through if you are in the San Diego area!!! Check out the Flyer HERE. I hear Tyga might be coming to San Diego to play at club Fluxx later this month around the 19th or 26th. I might be the DJ for the nite so make sure to check my site for upcoming info about that.
